So many times people feel like turning back and moving in a direction that is away from God rather than moving towards him. Life gets overwhelming, at times, but I have found a way to be an overcomer. The best way to overcome is to have a made up mind that no matter what, turning back is not an option. It doesn’t matter what the world thinks, or how others choose to live their daily lives. All I can do about that is pray for them. What does matter is whether or not I have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
I knew that I could spend my remaining days focusing on the things that I don’t have, or I could learn to be thankful for the things that I do have, so I choose to be thankful. “In everything give thanks.” When you demonstrate an attitude of thanks, nothing can shake you from your purpose.
Today, the Lord has given us all today. Now, what will I do with it? Hopefully, I will not spend the day regretting yesterday, or worrying about tomorrow. Rather, I will choose to live in the moment, for it is now, that will make a difference in my life. The bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:2, “(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
We must continue to run this race of life with patience.
In this week’s Lattereign we celebrate 37 years of apostolic ministry at the Pentecostals of Greenville. Let’s Finish the Race
