This is the last week of 2013, and there is no doubt that we are reflecting on the past year and it’s challenges and triumphs, and looking forward to a brand new year, 2014 to make some significant changes that will bring us closer to our goals.
You may feel that nothing has really changed in the past year, but I know that even though circumstances may not have changed much, I have changed. Through the Lord’s continual presence in my life, I am stronger. The enemy has been defeated and death couldn’t hold the Lord down. The trials that I faced in the past year are behind me. I know there will be more to come, but for now, I rest in his presence. There is nothing that the Lord and I can’t overcome.
Have you crushed the devil under your feet this year? or, have you allowed Satan to grind his hoofs into the weak spots of your life? We can’t back down, turn around, or lament about what might have been. What we can do is take a stand for truth, and trust God to work all things for our good.
