November 3, 2013 Only Believe  What have you been believing God for lately? Can you even comprehend what the Lord desires for your life? It’s time to Stand until.

October 27, 2013  How to Release Unanswered Prayers

I must ask the Lord if my prayer life has become more of a ritual than a spiritual breakthrough? If you are waiting on God to answer some prayers for you, it may be that he is waiting on you to release his hand through forgiveness.

October 20, 2013  Jesus Yesterday, Today, Forever

I’m so thankful that I can depend on the Lord to be ever faithful and never changing. He is consistent and we can stand on his promises.

October 13, 2013   Sow in Tears Reap in Joy

“Whatsoever ye sow, that shall ye also reap…” We have sown so many tears in recent years through prayer, now we are entering into the time of harvest and reaping.

October 6, 2013  In the Fall Let’s Stand for Truth

Fall is one of my favorite seasons in the year. The air is crisp, and we spend our time settling back into a routine. Make serving the Lord a habit, and you’ll never regret it.

September 29, 2013   Is There Ever Enough Time

The answer to that is yes. Surprisingly, we all have been given the same number of hours in a day to work with. The good thing about those hours is that how we use them is totally up to us. The Lord is generous with us, because if we misuse those hours, we can wake up tomorrow and find that the Lord has replenished us with 24 more hours.

September 22, 2013 The Best is Yet to Come

There’s something about homecoming that brings out the nostalgia in most people. They remember a time when life wasn’t so complicated, where families gathered for dinner on the grounds and everyone brought their Sunday meal and extra for the guests that would be invited to celebrate. There was always plenty of food, fun, and fellowship. We’d take boards and put them on barrels and create makeshift tables to hold all of the casseroles, and vegetables, and cakes, and chicken, and roast beef, and pork… well, let’s say, there was a LOT of food. The best part of homecoming is reminding ourselves that in our busy life, because we have faith in God, we can go home, a place of refuge. Enjoy this week’s Lattereign.

September 15, 2013 He Gives Strength to Me

Sometimes we become weakened by our constant figting in spiritual warfare. Every day we are bombarded with situations that only God can fix–we try to fix them. Have we forgotten that we can have joy by praying in the holy Ghost? The Bible says in Jude to “build up your most holy faith by praying in the Holy Ghost.”

September 8, 2013  The Art of Believing in His Promise

It is an art form to believe when you can’t see the results of your prayers. We must step out in faith and keep trusting God even for the things we can’t see because he is working all things out for our good. Have faith in God.

September 1, 2013   My help cometh from the Lord

If we’ll allow God to work in our lives, we can have the life that we’ve always wanted but never quite reached. It’s a life without fear. It’s a life based on trust and commitment. If you’re tired of wandering through life aimlessly, unsure of what direction to take; try Jesus.

August 25, 2013   Waiting on the Promises of God

It’s hard to wait on God’s promises when for whatever the reason, God delays the answer. The promises of God are something that we can be sure of, because he is always faithful. He says we have need of patience–there is nothing that I need that he won’t supply.

August 18, 2013   God has shown us light

Hold on to your faith when it seems that the battle is long and not going the way you think it should go. The Lord has set his plans for you in motion and he is working behind the scenes to produce the answers that you seek that are in line with his perfect will for your life. Don’t give up! Keep pressing forward.

August 11, 2013  Put Your Trust in the Lord!

How many times do we have to be reminded that the Lord has already won the battle? Even if your answer has not come, don’t give up on God, or his promise. It doesn’t matter what the enemy tries to throw at us, it will not prosper. It’s up to us to keep moving forward because the Lord wants us to prosper and be in good health. What a testimony we have when we live for God in spite of all obstacles that try to rob us of our joy. The Lord tells us over and over again, “Don’t fret, I got this, just trust me.”

August 4, 2013   What time is it for You?

There is  a time for every season as it says in Ecclesiastes 3. We have to learn how to give over the reigns of our life to the Lord. His timing is excellent, and we would do well to acknowledge that apart from the Lord we can do nothing. Let’s not get entangled in schedules, but take the time to learn and appreciate the process of a delivered prayer, from first utterance to the delivered promise. I have been reading Sister Joy Haney’s, Power of Speaking Positive, and I have included, “Think Happiness,” a poem by Ella Wheeler Wilcox, which puts everything in perspective about life.

July 28, 2013    He will Renew Our Strength

Isn’t it true that the Lord will Renew our strength! I am thankful that when we are almost at our lowest, God steps in. I’m looking forward to the best that the Lord has in store for us.

July 21, 2013   Learning to Wait on the Lord

It’s never easy to wait on the Lord when all we can see is through our flesh. Know that the Lord sees far beyond what we can see. Trust him, and don’t forget that he will do it!

July 7, 2013   Whatsoever Ye Shall Ask in my Name

Whatsoever. We can ask the Lord anything and we will have it because he promises us in his Word. Be careful what you ask for. Building a relationship with Jesus Christ will get our desires in line with God’s word and will for our lives.

June 30, 2013 At All Times I Will Bless the Lord

You know yourself that there are times in the daily challenges of living that it is more of a struggle to bless the Lord, especially when your life seems to come with problem after challenge stacked up against you. If you’ll learn to press your way through that, and bless the Lord, even when it seems impossible to do, you will find that the Lord will meet you, and you will have the ultimate victory.

June 23, 2013 Your Prayers are Close to Deliverance

This absolutely excites me! When I wrote this, I was so far from having prayers answered that I had almost given up, but then, as I started writing this Lattereign, the Lord reminded me of his perspective on my struggles. Worship him! Praise him! Hallelujah! He is victorious!

June 16, 2013 The Role of Man

Family is important to God, so much so that he created male and female in the Garden of Eden. He instructed us on how family is to function.

June 9, 2013  It’s Not Complicated

It’s true that people try to make living for God, HARD. They stir up confusion instead of following the scriptures to a well laid out plan of salvation. If you truly want to live for God, you can; if you will learn to listen to him and quiet all of the voices in your head that may tell you that living for God is hard. Move forward in your commitment, and don’t turn back!
