Today is a Brand New Day- The Enemy’s been Defeated!

I am resolved that the past is yesterday, and that today is a brand new day.

I can make choices that will lead me closer to my vision. I can move forward in spite of circumstances that would try to hinder my walk with the Lord. The roadblocks that we face are there to make us stronger, not to stop us in our tracks. Don’t listen the the devil’s lies when he says that life is hopeless, because the truth is he is hopeless and wants to take as many as he can with him into a sea of despair.

We are overcomers when we don’t react to difficulty the way the world expects us to react. We are a people with a made up mind to serve the Lord with gladness, even when all we really want to do is curl up in a corner somewhere and cry out to God about how we are fearful about what the future holds. When you feel that you want to hide, it’s time to shout unto God with a voice of triumph. Worship him with every fiber of your being–The devil hates it.

We can find comfort in knowing that when we are weak, the Lord is strong; when we feel that we can’t fight the battle any longer, he steps in and fights in our place. The enemy has already been defeated, what are we weeping for?

God has all the power and he is victorious.  He is victorious and he’s never lost. The devil is under our feet! I have a made up mind to not let anything stand in my way of fulfilling God’s purpose for my life. My plans, my hopes, my dreams, my ambitions, my future all rest solely in the palm of his hands. You see, “He knows the plans that he has for me, that I may prosper and be in good health.” I hold to that promise.

Change your perspective, hold your head high, child of God, because you belong to Jesus Christ and you will never lose with him on your side.
