Lean on Me
When I fail, Jesus loves me, If I grumble and complain, He still loves me.
Oh, how I love Jesus; he gives me peace in my valley
A troubled sea will not drown me
In my darkest night, his love surrounds me,
In the loneliness of why’s, he assures me.
And the Lord says,
“My ways are higher than your ways,
My thoughts go far beyond your thoughts.
My sights are set far above your needs;
I see far beyond your circumstance.”
Oh, how I love Jesus. He give me peace in my valley
A troubled sea will not drown me
In my darkest night, his love surrounds me.
In the loneliness of why’s he assures me.
And God said, “Seek me while it is day,”
Don’t despair, I’ll give you rest;
I’ll wipe your tears, and take your pain;
Trust me and lean not to your own understanding.
