Christmas is my Favorite Time of Year

Christmas can also be the most stressful time of the year, if we forget why we celebrate it. Let’s not allow this season of giving to become a burden; rather let us remember to give those things that money can’t buy: time, thankfulness, and love.

Nothing means more to me than knowing that every day I wake up and do my best to be a blessing to someone else. In our busyness, this can be challenging. You’ll often find that when you set out to do something productive, the other responsibilities that you have, creep in and steal your joy, energy and before you know it, you wonder what you were planning to do.  This feeling of missing something important, can follow you throughout the year, until you dwell on it so much that you lose your focus.

I am thankful that when we do begin to get overwhelmed with the cares of this life, we can depend on Jesus  Christ to intervene in our situation. If we really pray about it, we will find that leaving our circumstance in the hands of an Almighty God will help us to see results of our prayers even faster. You see, we must

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

I want to trust in the Lord, because he has already walked the path we must trod, and he knows the way.

About gracemorganwriter

What is a writer? Someone who writes. For me, writing means to observe the world in a fresh way; it gives us encouragement when we are struggling to follow the path, and hope that we can keep pressing towards the mark. Writing gives us grace for the journey, and shines light into the darkened places of our soul.
