- Commit yourself and all that you have to God.
-
Stand for truth even if it isn’t popular among your friends.
-
Recognize that without God, we can do nothing; with God we can do exploits.
-
Listen to his voice and shut out all the voices of doubt, unbelief, and self-condemnation.
-
Walk by faith and not by sight. The world looks bleak at times but we rise above it.
-
Have faith in God who is the author and the finisher of our faith. He knows the plans that he has for us.
-
Learn to be still in the midst of the storm. Find a peace that passes all understanding by obeying the Lord’s command to, “Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10.
If the Lord chooses not to remove the trial, he will be there and give you wisdom to endure the trial as you go through it. We are tried by fire, but be of good cheer, because when we come out of the fire, we will be purest gold and even more fit for the Master’s use. Let’s give God our best efforts this year, and he will give us his best because of our commitment to trust him.
